Complaints Procedure

Crawshaw Solicitors is committed to providing all clients with a good quality of service, however, if you have any concerns that you wish to raise in relation to our service, please contact the fee earner the first instance.

If the solicitor dealing with your case cannot resolve your complaint, your complaint will be referred to Emma Crawshaw. If the complaint is about Emma Crawshaw, it will be referred to Angela Wall.

Any complaints will be formally acknowledged and a procedure will be followed in dealing with your complaint. If requested, we can provide you with a copy of our complaints handling procedure. We have a period of eight weeks to consider your complaint and it will be dealt with promptly, fairly, openly and effectively.

If you have exhausted our complaints handling procedure, you are entitled to seek review of your complaint by the Legal Ombudsman who is an independent complaints body. You would normally need to file your complaint with them within six months of receiving our final decision. The issue must have happened within the last six years, unless you have only become aware of it in the last three years. Contact details for the Legal Ombudsman are:
